- Review literature to gain an in depth understanding of concepts, methods & new developments in the field of chemistry, also do external analyses to test these- Use this information obtained to produce & develop novel idees- Develop new products through small scale formulation, pilot plants & full scale production- Analyze & write technical reports on the process results- Assist the Chemical Engineering team to refine their existing range of products to improve their quality and production efficiency- Analyze product failure & non-compliance- Maintain lab equipment/instrumentation & troubleshoot or report on malfunctions- Ensure compliance with laboratory Health & Safety regulations- Routine & Non-routine QC analysis for relevant legislation & compliance requirements- Stock control & stock tacking- Good laboratory practicesAd Hoc duties as asigned
