Our client an international law firm based in Sandton is seeking a Senior Associate to join their esteemed Banking and Finance Practice Group. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with senior partners contributing to highprofile cases and complex transactions in a dynamic and global legal environment. Duties and Responsibilities

• Drafting of agreements and corporate documents.
• Managing transactions (including crossborder transactions) and engaging with borrower and lender clients and local counsel in other jurisdiction.
• Researching and advising on all aspects of South African financial services legislation and contract law (as it applies to finance transactions).
• Attending independently to matters.
• Assisting with the training of junior team members and clients on request.
• Participating actively in the teams business development initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• LLB
• Admitted as an attorney of the High Court.
• 3 5 years post qualification experience.
• Experience in corporate and commercial work.
• Ability to draft agreements.
• Ability to manage work streams on multiple transactions.
• Ability to work within and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage own time effectively.
• Ability to delegate to and work with junior professionals.
