About the Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Mechanical Engineer to join their engineering department in Welkom . This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in mechanical design, analysis, and project support. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers, contributing to various projects and learning essential engineering practices. The role requires a keen interest in mechanical systems, a willingness to learn, and the ability to contribute effectively to team objectives, fostering a foundation for a successful career in mechanical engineering within a reputable organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in the design and development of mechanical components and systems.
- Conduct basic engineering calculations and simulations to support design decisions.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation under supervision.
- Support testing and validation activities, gathering and analyzing experimental data.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
- Maintain project documentation and assist with reporting on progress and outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Foundational knowledge of mechanical principles and engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop technical expertise.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
