Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand our client base and increase assets under management (AUM) in unit trusts and collective investment schemes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, financial advisors, and intermediaries to understand their needs and provide tailored investment solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Present investment solutions to prospective clients, conduct product training sessions, and provide ongoing support and education to clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform business strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on business development activities, client feedback, and market insights to senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in finance, business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or client relationship management within the unit trust/collective investment schemes sector.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing business development strategies and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of unit trusts, collective investment schemes, and the broader financial services industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
