Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Radio Planner to join our TowerCo team.
  • The ideal candidate will leverage crowdsourcing tools, advanced analytics, and technical expertise to identify and enhance network coverage for Mobile Network Operators (MNOs).
  • The Radio Planner will play a critical role in identifying coverage gaps, proposing solutions for network optimization, and driving revenue growth through strategic site planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Coverage Analysis:

  • Utilize crowdsourcing tools, GIS platforms, and other analytics tools to assess the coverage of all MNOs across various technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G).
  • Identify coverage gaps and areas with poor quality of service (QoS) for potential network improvement.

Collocation and New Site Build Proposals:

  • Recommend collocation opportunities to maximize the use of existing infrastructure.
  • Identify strategic locations for new site builds to enhance network coverage and capacity.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for proposed sites.

Network Optimization:

  • Analyze network performance data and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate with MNOs to align on solutions for enhancing service quality and coverage.

Revenue Assurance:

  • Identify potential revenue-generating opportunities through collocation, network densification, and site upgrades.
  • Work closely with sales and finance teams to ensure proposed projects align with revenue growth targets.

Technology Integration:

  • Stay updated on the latest radio network technologies and trends.
  • Ensure the proposed solutions are future-proof and support the integration of emerging technologies like 5G and IoT.

Reporting and Stakeholder Communication:

  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on coverage analysis, site proposals, and optimization plans.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
