This position is based within a high-performing Market Risk team, responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing exposure across complex trading portfolios.As a Market Risk Analyst, you will play a key role in monitoring portfolio risk, ensuring that exposure remains within the companys defined appetite, and providing valuable insights that shape strategic decisions. Youll collaborate closely with traders and senior risk managers across international offices and gain exposure to advanced risk management tools and global market strategies.Benefits:Exposure to international commodities and energy trading markets.Close collaboration with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.A performance-driven culture that rewards initiative and analytical excellence.Opportunities for professional development and long-term career growth in a global environment.Duties:Identify, assess, and monitor market risks across assigned trading portfolios.Design, develop, and maintain effective risk reporting tools and dashboards using Python and data visualization platforms (Tableau/Power BI).Collaborate with trading and risk teams to analyze market movements and define stress testing scenarios.Communicate analytical insights clearly to traders and senior management to support strategic decision-making.Education:Bachelors Degree in Science, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field (required).Masters Degree in Finance or Risk Management (preferred).Postgraduate qualifications in Finance, Risk Management, or Economics (advantageous).Experience:Proven experience in market risk (commodities or financial markets).Experience in oil and/or gas trading environments preferred but not essential.Skills:Advanced Python programming skills (essential).Strong proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.Apply nowFor more exciting Finance
