Registration as Professional Engineer a preference.Experience:Solar Industry: Minimum 5 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, specifically in solar project development, installation, commissioning and maintenance.Utility-Scale Solar: Experience working on large-scale solar projects is highly valued.Agricultural: Experience working on hybrid/ off grid solar projects is highly valued.C&I : Experience working on hybrid/ off grid solar projects is highly valued.Technical Expertise:Solar Energy Systems: Hands-on experience with solar energy systems, including design, installation, and performance analysis.Energy Modelling Software: Proficiency in tools like PVsyst, Helioscope or equivalent.Electrical Engineering Principles: Understanding of electrical circuits, power systems, and control systems. Project Management:Project Planning: Experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.Software and Tools: CAD Software: Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or PVsyst, HOMER and Helioscope.SCADA Systems: Experience with SCADA development, including software.Soft Skills:Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.Communication: Effective communication skills for working with teams, clients, and stakeholdersRecruitment shall be done in accordance with the company's Employment Equity Plan.
