Job & Company Description:
An established manufacturing company in Johannesburg East seeks a dynamic Financial Reporting Accountant.

This job entails a range of financial responsibilities including accounting tasks such as accounts payable, cost accounting, and treasury duties. It involves generating financial reports, interpreting them, and suggesting actions based on the findings while ensuring accuracy and reliability. Managing the monthly closing process, reconciliations, and analysis of accounts are key aspects. Additionally, the role involves analyzing costs, pricing, sales results, and comparing actual performance to business plans. Lastly, it includes reviewing and reconciling payroll and tax-related duties.
Education:
  • CA(SA)

Job Experience & Skills Required:
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar environment
  • Exposure to the manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of best practices in internal controls
  • Solid understanding of local employment legislation and policies
  • Commercial awareness
  • MS Office and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong reporting
  • Ability to work in a fast moving, high pressured environment
