Who will you be working with?
You will work closely with the Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Services teams, along with external suppliers.

 

How will you make a difference?
As a key member of the Supply Chain team, your mission is to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods, materials, components, or services. Your ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships will help us sustain a high-performance supply chain while maximizing profitability.

 

Key Requirements:
Education:

  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.
  • Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field from an accredited institution.

 

Experience & Skills:

  • 5+ years relevant experience
  • Solid understanding of commercial terms and conditions.
  • Ability to work across functions, including sales and product management.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven experience in identifying cost savings and driving down expenses.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle ERP or similar systems.

 

What will your typical day look like?
Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Request for Quotations (RFQ) process for relevant categories.
  • Actively participate in supplier selection and conduct performance reviews.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
  • Ensure goods are purchased from approved vendors and prepare compliant purchase orders.
  • Assist in sourcing products and evaluating new suppliers.
  • Analyze costs, review existing supplier agreements, and pursue cost reduction opportunities.
  • Generate outstanding purchase order reports and address contract or pricing queries.
  • Maintain accurate and accessible procurement records.
  • Serve as the liaison between suppliers and internal teams on purchasing processes and new initiatives.
  • Monitor and manage risks or opportunities within the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with other procurement team members to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Proactively communicate delays or potential issues to key stakeholders.
