We are looking for a skilled and experienced IT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning and optimization of our IT systems and services. The candidate will have a strong technical background with understanding of hardware, software, and networking, as well as excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 2 and 3 support to users
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
  • Manage user accounts and permissions
  • Perform regular system maintenance and updates
  • Monitor network activity and performance
  • Train users on new systems and software
  • Assist with the implementation of new technologies

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support with qualifications
  • Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and networking.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with a Server setup, maintenance, and backup’s/recovery
  • Experience with working on IT helpdesk
  • Experience with operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Experience with network setup, fault finding and maintenance.
  • Experience with basic IT Project management
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with IT security best practices
