About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Production Line Technician to join their bustling manufacturing facility in Centurion, Gauteng . In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting various pieces of production machinery. Your expertise will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the production line, contributing directly to the company's output and product quality. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production schedules.
- Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs, to prevent equipment downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on the production line, implementing timely solutions.
- Conduct quality checks on products as they are manufactured, identifying and reporting any defects.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of new equipment or line modifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Production Line Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with operating and maintaining various types of manufacturing equipment.
- Commitment to safety regulations and a proactive approach to hazard identification.
- Must be able to work shifts and perform physical tasks as required.
