An opportunity for an experienced FMCG PERSONAL ASSISTANT / SALES SECRETARY with a Bachelors degree is required for permanent employment based in Durban.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to and providing Personal Assistant / Sales Secretary duties to the Key Account Director will also include:

  • Ensuring meetings are effectively organised and minuted.
  • Liaising with the Chair to plan meetings.
  • Maintaining effective records and administration.
  • Upholding legal requirements.
  • Communication and correspondence.
  • Sales Data Capturing
  • Filing reports
  • Typing invoices
  • Forwarding phone calls
  • Responding to emails and handling customer inquiries.
  • Occasionally, assisting in making a sale.
  • Following up with clients to make sure the product and/or service sold has been delivered as promised.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, economics, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of Sales Secretarial experience.
  • 2 years Personal Assistant experience to a Director.
  • FMCG (Fast Moving Consumable Goods) Cold-Chain depot / industry experience (essential).
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office (Including advanced Excel skills; Tables, Formulas, Pivots etc).
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service .
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Drivers licence with own / reliable transport.
  • Available to work extended hours, alternative Saturdays (6-day work week) (from time to time as required).
