Our client in the butchery industry is looking for a butchery trainee that is eager to learn.

Minimum requirements:

  • Grade 10 
  • Have own transport 
  • Must be fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
  • Must be willing to learn 
  • Should be a hard-worker 

Duties will include:

  • Cutting, grinding and preparing meats for sale
  • Weighing, packaging, pricing and displaying products
  • Performing quality inspections on meats and other products
  • Adhering to food safety and sanitation controls
  • Greeting and speaking to customers, providing advice, answering questions, and accepting orders or payments
  • Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring displays are accurate 

Remuneration: R5 400 

Monday to Saturday
