Knowledge, Skills and Abilities requiredMachine tool Fitter Trade Tested Fitter with 10 years experience. Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Ability to measure with verniers, micrometers, thread gauges etc. Ability to strip and assemble gearboxes.Ability to draft a materials list and complete simple sketches and drawings.Ability to do routine maintenance and attend to mechanical break downs when required. Ability to strip and assemble lead screws and ball screws. Must be familiar with setting gibs. Must have hydraulics and pneumatics operating machinery experience. Must be familiar with electromagnetic and mechanical clutches. Must be able to work independently and adhere to deadlines. Must have proven ability to do fault finding. Understand the safe working procedure of the machines. Must be able to adhere to general housekeeping rules. Own transportMust be able to work shifts.Knowledge , Skills and abilities required Machine Tool MillwrightExtensive Machine tool Maintenance experienceAble to read and understand electrical drawingsMedically fit to work without restrictionsCandidate must be able to work independentlyGood communications skillsAbility to strip and assemble different types of machinesBe able to repair breakdowns , electrical and mechanicalKnowledge of Machine Tool Gearboxes and their associated parts is essentialKnowledge of Ball Screws will be requiredMust have extensive experience in fault finding on CNC machine ToolsMust be Familiar with PLC'sMinimum Education & Experience required Matric Or N3Qualified Millwright with red seal years Work experience in a Machine Shop PreferredKnowledge and experience of conventional and CNC machine Tools machineryStrong mathematical and technical skills with attention to detailMust be able to work shiftsown transport is preferred
