GM – Maintenance

✔ Lead engineering maintenance and project strategies to optimize asset availability and integrity. ✔Drive operational efficiency, compliance, and sustainable cost control for both mobile and fixed plant assets. ✔Oversee CAPEX projects exceeding R50 million, ensuring seamless execution from feasibility to commissioning.✔Implement world-class reliability practices, including RCM, RCA, condition monitoring, and predictive analytics. ✔Engage with regulators, unions, and OEMs while ensuring full compliance with MHSA, DMR, and SANS codes. ✔Lead shutdowns, emergency maintenance, and cost optimization initiatives.Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Essential) Government Certificate of Competency (GCC Mines & Works) (Essential)Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) 15+ years' experience in chemical, metallurgical, heavy industrial plants, or mining. 8+ years' senior leadership experience in maintenance or engineering environments.
