  • Monitor vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration).
  • Administer medications (oral, topical, injections) as directed by RNs or doctors.
  • Collect and record patient data (medical history, symptoms, progress reports).
  • Assist with wound care and other treatments.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families.

Collaboration:

  • Work effectively with RNs, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely about patient care.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs).
  • Professional Development:
  • Stay up-to-date on nursing practices and guidelines.
  • Participate in continuing education programs.
