This is a live-in role, ideal for a passionate pair with a strong background in hospitality and maintenance, looking to grow within a premier lodge environment.Her Role Front of House (FOH):Requirements:Minimum 34 years in a similar FOH or receptionist role at a luxury lodgeExcellent interpersonal and guest service skillsFluent in Afrikaans & EnglishWell-groomed, energetic, and professional demeanorStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsHis Role HandymanResponsibilities:Perform routine and emergency electrical and plumbing workConduct inspections and mechanical maintenance as neededHandle general repairs to doors, windows, walls, ceilings, and roofsAssist with installation and upkeep of flooring, piping, and fixturesMaintain and repair air conditioning and heating systemsManage gardening, bush clearing, and outdoor maintenanceEnsure trash and recycling areas are clean and orderlySupport vehicle checks and minor fleet maintenanceLiaise with lodge management to coordinate maintenance needsEnsure all tasks are completed with guest safety and comfort in mindRequirements:35 years experience as a Handyman, including electrical and plumbing dutiesFully bilingual in Afrikaans and EnglishValid drivers licencePresentable appearance with sober habitsPhysically fit and activeStrong professional work ethic and reliabilityIdeal Couple ProfileWe are seeking a dedicated, service-oriented couple for a live-in role at our luxury lodge.
