•Ensuring minimum downtime in the event of breakdown.
•Diagnose malfunctioning systems and equipment to locate cause of breakdown.
•Test systems using testing devices.
•Report any problems that require additional parts to the Manager.
•Take responsibility for safety in the plant.
•Report any parts which need to be ordered.
•Overhaul and repair the equipment as necessary.
•Assist in design of automation to improve factory efficiencies
Desired Skills:
•Project management of installations
•Fault finding
•PLC’s
•Basic electrical knowledge
•Hydraulics and pneumatics
Desired Work Experience:
•5 years mechanical Equipment Installation / Repair FMCG or similar industry
•5 years of supervison of maintenance team
Desired Qualification Level:
•Trade test(Red seal ) fitter and turner or millwright
•Any other supervison/safety qualifications
