Responsibilities:

1. Tender Administration

Requesting quotations as well as revised quotations and that they are received on time

Issuance and compilation of Bulk Orders

Assist Tenderer with kick-off meetings as well as monthly costs meeting

Comparison of material prices received at tender stage, for use of tender

Obtaining Tax Clearance from SARS

Requesting way leaves

Do price comparison of quotations

Completion and submission of tender documents before deadlines

Request guarantees and confirm insurance

Applications and renewal of CIDB ratings

2. Correspondence

Letters to engineer and shippers on request from Tenderer or Site Agent

Liaison and communication with suppliers, customers and engineers

3. General Administration

Filing

Open tender folders

Memos

Collection of documents if necessary
