Bookkeeper

- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Process and reconcile transactions, including purchases, sales, expenses, and payments.
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate posting of debits and credits.
- Reconcile accounts to confirm financial accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor budget variances and provide insights to support financial decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Generate and issue invoices, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Ensure all financial transactions are logged in compliance with relevant laws.
- Provide ad hoc financial support as required.
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping.
- Proven ability to oversee and manage junior finance staff.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as Sage Evolution or Business Central.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Professionalism and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Resilient under pressure and results-driven.
