We are thrilled to be working with a one of the leading telecommunication companies in SA Our client is currently seeking a tools Administrator that will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the chosen Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) toolsets and other industry recognized tools across. Unlike a traditional Project Management Office, which is highly process driven, this role will be to help create an outcome focused Value Management function, supporting value delivery and flow through small, lightweight controls.12-month contract.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have Knowledge Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Experience with Heroku Cloud Application Technology.
  • Must have FinTech, Mobile Payment or Financial Payment Service experience.
  • Manage the relationship between MPA and vendors who supply work management tools, including Atlassian, Team Retro and Retouch (PI Planning)
  • Provide a consistent approach to access management across work management tools.
  • Align license needs with Agile Release Train designs and facilitate the process through Finance and Procurement
  • Liaise with Cyber Security and revoke access across MPA tools and systems for leavers.
  • Apply configuration changes using automation and configuration management tools.
  • Monitor and maintain the technology tools performance whilst also troubleshooting issues and outages.
  • Build Realtime MPA reporting dashboards across all levels within the organization ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Build and maintain an internal wiki with technical documentation and manuals aligned with current IT policies.
  • Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
  • Strong understanding of / experience with agile ways of working
  • Full-stack development experience
  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role with a background in programming
  • Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
  • Experience with databases and patch management
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
  • Knowledge in application compatibility to ensure new tools features are compatible with the IT infrastructure.
  • Focus on real value delivered to the business and customers.
  • Strong data analytical skills, able to identify solutions to complex problems.
  • Able to communicate and influence with tact and diplomacy.
  • Demonstrable numerical, analytical, and verbal skills, in particular well-developed written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Experience in the following technologies:
  • NodeJS
  • Typescript
  • Express
  • React (NextJS preferable)
  • SQL (postgres preferable)
  • Building and consuming REST APIs
  • Gitlab
  • Demonstrable competence using and configuring Atlassian Suite, including the JIRA and Confluence tools
  • Knowledge and experience in CI/CD including building and maintaining development pipelines
  • Contagious passion and commitment for driving innovation in a FinTech organisation
  • Communication and relationship management experience
  • Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills to support work in reactive and proactive environments
