Trencher Operator

1.â  â Operates trenching machines to dig trenches for pipelines, cables, or other underground infrastructure.
2.â  â Conducts pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
3.â  â Follows project plans, blueprints, and specifications to achieve desired trench depth and width.
4.â  â Maintains accurate records of trenching progress, production rates, and equipment performance.
5.â  â Troubleshoots and performs basic repairs on equipment.
6.â  â Collaborates with other crew members to ensure efficient project execution.
7.â  â Adheres to safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
8.â  â Performs maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment.

Requirements:

1.â  â High school diploma or equivalent.
2.â  â Experience operating heavy machinery, preferably trenching equipment.
3.â  â Valid certification or license to operate heavy equipment.
4.â  â Physical stamina to work in varying weather conditions.
5.â  â Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
6.â  â Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
7.â  â Basic mechanical knowledge.
