We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester to join our Johannesburg based team. We follow a hybrid way of work, but we can also consider people outside of Johannesburg.Your expertise:The ideal person should have experience in the following areas:Senior (7+ years of experience)Advanced JAVA experienceSpring BootSeleniumDatabase Management: SQL basicsFront-end Application NavigationAPI Testing (using tools like REST, Postman and SOAPUI)API Documentation (including Swagger docs)Monitoring Tools (SPlunk, Grafana)CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins/Bamboo)Micro Focus ALM Octane usageGit and Bitbucket knowledgeIntelliJ (IDE) UsageUnderstanding of Script DatasheetsData Driven FrameworkKnowledge of OCEP ServicesData Preparation and understandingAgile MethodologyIssue ResolutionStakeholder CommunicationAutomation Scripting:Quickly adapt to prescribed standards and usage of the internal Framework.Familiarize yourself with all defined interaction points in the framework, namely (Legacy Application, REST, API, Selenium, SOAP, IMS, OCEP).Design robust, scalable, and maintainable automation scripts covering various aspects of the System Under Test.Review existing processes and suggest innovative ideas to improve and streamline processes to drive efficiencies and minimise redundancy scripts.Qualifications:MatricRelevant IT/ Testing QualificationISTQBOCA (Oracle Certified Associate) Certificate – must haveOther information applicable to the opportunity:Initial Contract PositionLocation: Johannesburg (Hybrid way of work) or elsewhere in South AfricaWhy work for us?Want to work for an organization that solves complex real-world problems with innovative software solutions?
