Rondebosch High School is hiring a Teacher to deliver high-quality education in Cape Town. The candidate will develop lessons, assess student progress, and foster a positive learning environment.
Teachers are expected to engage students creatively, integrate digital learning tools, and contribute to overall academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons and instructional activities.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and assessments.
- Support students with academic mentoring and individualized guidance.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Use digital education tools and technology in teaching.
- Participate in school events, workshops, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum development and school programs.
- Encourage student participation in co-curricular and enrichment activities.
- Prepare academic reports and feedback for students and parents.
- Promote critical thinking, creativity, and holistic development.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or relevant field
- 3-5 years teaching experience
- Knowledge of modern pedagogy, assessment methods, and classroom management
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to integrate innovative teaching methods and learning tools
Salary & Benefits
- Annual Salary: Approximately ZAR 300,000 - ZAR 420,000 per year
