Our client is seeking an experienced Diesel Engine Overhaul Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in diesel engine repair and specific expertise with Caterpillar C16, C18, and C32 engines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and overhaul diesel engines, particularly CAT C16, C18, and C32 models.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair work to ensure peak engine performance.
  • Inspect components for wear, damage, and compliance with operational standards.
  • Utilize technical manuals and specialized tools for engine repairs.
  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training in diesel mechanics preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in diesel engine maintenance and repair.
  • Advanced knowledge of Caterpillar engines (C16, C18, and C32).
  • Strong mechanical, technical, and diagnostic skills.
  • Proficiency in English for technical communication and documentation.
