This is a critical role in managing smooth, repeatable, and high-quality software releases. You’ll bridge development, QA, and operations—helping the team deliver scalable software systems in a production-grade environment.About the RoleYou will take ownership of the release calendar, CI/CD automation, and environment stability—empowering dev teams to focus on building features while ensuring the business receives robust, production-ready software. Your efforts will directly enhance deployment quality, system observability, and business confidence in release cycles.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and own the software release calendar and coordinationPlan, communicate, and document release processes across environmentsBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOpsAutomate deployment processes across development, staging, and productionMaintain parity between staging and production environmentsImplement rollback strategies and recovery processesCollaborate with IT and QA to ensure environments are secure and production-likeTroubleshoot and resolve staging/production issuesProvide visibility via dashboards and release readiness metricsWhat You’ll BringStrong experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOpsProficiency in automated deployments for .NET, Blazor, and SQL ServerExpert knowledge of Git branching strategiesSolid troubleshooting skills across code, configuration, and environmentsFamiliarity with release/change management in enterprise settingsHigh attention to detail and structured thinkingOwnership mindset and collaborative working styleNice to HaveExperience with observability tools (e.g., Seq)Understanding of security protocols for deployment (secrets, IAM, access policies)Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)Containerisation and infrastructure automation experienceWhat’s On OfferHigh-impact DevOps role in a stable and long-standing companyHybrid working model (Bedfordview-based)Opportunity to shape release processes and improve deployment frequencyDirect collaboration with development, QA, and ITExposure to modern DevOps tools and enterprise standardsCompany CultureAt WatersEdge Solutions, we partner with purpose-led teams building reliable, scalable, and secure systems.
