Cost & Management Accountant

- Implement and oversee cost management systems.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for management.
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial strategies and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Travel frequently within Gauteng and occasionally to Polokwane to manage financial operations across multiple sites.
- B Com degree in Cost & Management Accounting and/or professional accreditation with CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants).
- At least 4 years' proven experience in cost and management accounting in FMCG, agriculture or related industry.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Proficient in financial software and Excel. Meat Matrix highly advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
- Own car and valid drivers license, as the role involves significant travel.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the Gauteng region and to Polokwane.
The final remuneration package offered by the employer will be determined based on market standards, considering the candidate's qualifications, skills, and level of experience. The employer retains the prerogative to provide a remuneration package that aligns with industry norms and the specific attributes of the selected candidate.
