Job Specification: SAP S/4HANA Utilities (S4U) Implementation Project Manager RISE with SAPJob TitleSAP S/4HANA Utilities (S4U) Implementation Project Manager RISE with SAPRole PurposeThe SAP S/4HANA Utilities Implementation Project Manager is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the S/4HANA Utilities (S4U) program deployed via RISE with SAP, ensuring successful migration, transformation, and operational readiness. The role coordinates all workstreamsfunctional, technical, cloud infrastructure, data, integration, and change managementwithin a RISE-enabled environment, ensuring on-time, in-budget, and high-quality delivery aligned with the SAP Activate methodology and cloud adoption principles.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution in RISE Context:- Develop and maintain an integrated project plan covering SAP S/4HANA implementation on RISE.- Manage lifecycle phases of SAP Activate tailored for RISE.- Coordinate RISE-specific activities including infrastructure provisioning and SAP Cloud ALM adoption.- Lead cutover planning, legacy decommissioning, and cloud go-live.Stakeholder & Ecosystem Management:- Engage stakeholders across SAP, hyperscalers, and implementation partners.- Facilitate governance with SAP RISE teams including CEEs and TQMs.- Manage vendor and cloud subscription deliverables.Scope, Risk & Change Management:- Manage scope, backlog, and RISE project dependencies.- Mitigate cloud-related project risks.- Administer structured change control processes.Financial & Resource Oversight:- Oversee budget including RISE subscription and implementation costs.- Coordinate procurement and commercial alignment.Cloud Governance, QA & Readiness:- Ensure compliance with SAP RISE governance.- Oversee tenant readiness and quality assurance activities.Reporting & Communication:- Provide cloud KPI-focused reports.- Lead steering committees and stakeholder briefings.Required Skills and QualificationsEducation:- Bachelors degree in Information Systems or related field (Masters preferred).- SAP Activate and PMP/PRINCE2 certifications.Experience:- 10+ years ERP project management including 3 full SAP implementations.- At least 1 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Utilities project under RISE.- Experience in regulated industries (utilities/public sector).Technical & Functional Knowledge:- Understanding of SAP IS-U and S/4HANA RISE components.- Familiarity with SAP Cloud ALM, BTP, and Clean Core.- Knowledge of hyperscaler platforms and security practices.Key Competencies- Strong leadership and influence across domains.- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication.- Skilled in risk mitigation and cloud project delivery.- Cloud-first and agile transformation mindset.Optional/Desirable Attributes- Experience with SAP BTP extensions and hybrid models.- Understanding of public vs private cloud SAP deployments.- Utilities integration experience (MDMS, GIS, CRM, Payments).
