About the Role
Our client, a progressive non-profit organization, is seeking a detail-oriented Impact Measurement Analyst to join their remote team. This role is critical for assessing and demonstrating the effectiveness and impact of the organization's programs and initiatives across South Africa . You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data collection and analysis systems, generating insights, and reporting on outcomes to stakeholders. This fully remote position requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of impact assessment methodologies, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine frameworks for measuring social impact and program effectiveness.
- Design and implement data collection tools and methodologies (surveys, interviews, case studies).
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess program outcomes and identify key trends.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on impact findings for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for program improvement and strategic decision-making.
- Stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in impact measurement and evaluation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Public Policy, or a related analytical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in impact measurement, program evaluation, or data analysis.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Excel).
- Experience in designing surveys and collecting data from diverse populations.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote environment.
