Our client is a well-established company that provides a wide range of services in the Built Environment with a focus on consulting and turnkey construction. The company operates across multiple provinces and undertakes a wide scope of projects.

Job Description

In this position you will be office based and reporting to the Director. Your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Mentor Junior QS Staff.
  • Foresight of project risk and proactive mitigation thereof.
  • Tender administration.
  • Contract Bill of Quantities.
  • Contract administration.
  • Site Measurement.
  • Interim Payment Certificates.
  • Agreeing and negotiating Final Accounts.
  • Engineering Estimates
  • Cost Reporting

Scope of Projects: Medical and Tertiary/University facilities with some Commercial and Industrial projects.

Qualifications
  • B-Tech/BSc Quantity Surveying (minimum) however, a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying is preferable.
  • Candidate MUST be registered with The SACQSP as a Professional Quantity Surveyor (non-negotiable).
  • 2 Years' post registration experience (preferred).
