An opportunity for an experienced / qualified and licenced SKID STEER OPERATOR is required for contract employment based onsite (in ArcelorMittal Steel) Newcastle.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To operate the relevant skid steer machinery safely and effectively whilst adhering to company rules and procedures
  • Must be familiar with skid steer operating
  • Follow all responsible instruction given to you by immediate supervisor/Site supervisor
  • Learn and adhere all health and safety measures in place with regards to your Job role

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in the role applied for
  • Valid/ operating license (Must have a skid steer license)
  • Clear criminal record with traceable references
  • Medically fit (Able to attend/pass an industrial medical on-site test)
  • Good co-ordination skills
  • 8 Hour shift per day (7am to 5pm).
  • Position based in Newcastle and able to access Mittal site.
