MPL Manager

MPL Manager required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in Gqeberha , Eastern Cape

Requirements:

• Experience in the Automotive Industry
• At least 5-8 years’ experience in a senior role
• Suitable degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Purchasing
• Proven track record of productivity and cost-saving achievements
• Knowledge of transportation regulations, inventory management and supply chain principles
• Strong negotiation skills

Responsibilities:

• Management and reporting of department budget (Import costs, export costs, forklift and truck costs, diesel costs)
• Management and controlling of all warehouse operations in all warehouses 
• Point of contact for suppliers of raw materials and packaging
• Management and reporting of department budget 
• Control of expenditure - Logistics budget spent filtering through to higher level
• Set up, control, and maintain the selling price
• Ordering of raw materials for production
