Requirements
  • A degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
  • Manufacturing in the chemical / pharma industry will be a strong advantage
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build relationships with Shareholders, Board, EXCO and various teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement solutions
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

  • Lead the implementation of comprehensive production plans to meet Distributor demands and business objectives
  • Oversee the Company’s operational activities including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Packaging, Warehouse, Dispatch, People and Performance to ensure operational strategic objectives set by the Board of Directors are achieved
  • Ensure adherence to strict quality control standards and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
  • Lead the lean manufacturing principles and best practices throughout the organization
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with Suppliers and Distributors ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials & products at competitive prices
  • Manage the maintenance of all manufacturing equipment and facilities, ensuring uptime and minimizing downtime costs
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance and lifespan
  • Develop and implement sustainable manufacturing practices to minimize environmental impact
  • Integrate sustainability goals in overall manufacturing strategy
  • Build and lead operations team, fostering organizational culture and corporate environment conducive to success
  • Attract, develop and retain employees within the manufacturing workforce
  • Foster relationships with Senior Leadership Team members
  • Drive effective performance management as per company procedures and policy
  • Provide coaching and development for manufacturing employees
  • Partner with the CEO and EXCO team to develop and implement the overall business strategy from an operational perspective
