Job Description: Buyer needs to have experience in procurement and purchasing with FMCG & Fruits.
 
Responsibilities
  • Source and purchase Products, Fruits, and FMCG required for exports to African countries
  • Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers
  • Work closely with Logistics managers and other team members to ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions to ensure best prices are achieved for the customers
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
  • Proven experience as a Buyer in the fruit/export industry 5 â 10 years
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of export procedures for Fruit & FMCG products
  • Needs to be good in Excel and ERP system (SAP Business One)
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
