About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead their team in Bloemfontein . You will be responsible for all aspects of store operations, including staff management, sales performance, inventory control, and customer service excellence. This leadership position requires a proactive approach to driving sales, motivating the team, and ensuring a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail dynamics, excellent leadership capabilities, and a commitment to achieving operational targets and upholding the brand's reputation within the local market.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
- Recruit, train, and manage store staff, fostering a high-performance team culture.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and timely replenishment.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, resolving customer issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management , with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in sales forecasting, inventory management, and retail operations software.
- Ability to motivate and lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
