Theyre now growing their team at a key facility based in Pretoria North.The successful candidate will perform preventative maintenance, fault diagnostics, and mechanical repairs on diesel-electric locomotives and related systems. Work will involve both workshop-based and field servicing, focusing on engines, brake systems, transmissions, and fuel systems. Youll also maintain service records, ensure compliance with rail safety standards, and be part of a team responsible for keeping critical rail operations running smoothly.Job Experience and Skills Required:Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic (accredited by MERSETA or similar)Minimum 5 years experience in rail or locomotivesStrong diagnostic skills on diesel-electric systems, hydraulics, and brake systemsExperience with locomotive engines (GE, GM, or similar)Familiarity with rail safety procedures and technical reportingApply now
