Remote Management Consultant - Digital Strategy & Innovation
About the Role Our client, a distinguished management consultancy, is seeking a forward-thinking Management Consultant with expertise in Digital Strategy and Innovation to join their fully remote team. This role is pivotal in assisting clients in harnessing digital technologies to drive innovation, enhance competitive advantage, and transform their business models. You will collaborate virtually with organizations to identify digital opportunities, develop innovation roadmaps, and guide the implementation of digital solutions. This fully remote position offers an exceptional opportunity for a strategic digital advisor to work flexibly from anywhere in South Africa , delivering high-impact strategies. While remote, this role is associated with our virtual hub supporting the Northern Cape region, including areas around Upington . Key Responsibilities
- Assess clients' digital maturity and identify strategic opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Develop comprehensive digital strategies, including business model innovation, digital product development, and market entry plans.
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, IoT, Blockchain, etc.) and their potential business applications.
- Facilitate virtual ideation sessions and innovation workshops with client teams.
- Develop business cases and investment proposals for digital transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with clients to design and pilot new digital products and services.
- Guide clients in adopting agile methodologies and fostering an innovation culture.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on digital trends and strategic recommendations.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables in a remote setting, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Master's degree in Business, Technology Management, Innovation Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in digital strategy, innovation consulting, or technology-focused management consulting.
- Proven track record of developing and advising on successful digital strategies and innovation initiatives.
- Deep understanding of digital technologies, platforms, and business models.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent virtual communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in managing complex projects and leading remote teams.
- Familiarity with design thinking principles and agile development methodologies.
- Highly adaptable, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fully remote work environment.
