We are recruiting for a dynamic Machine Builder to join a Production Team for a machinery manufacturing in Parrow.

  • Minimum qualification: Matric, Qualified Fitter or Fitter Turner.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the building, testing, debugging, installation and commissioning of packaging machines.
  • Experience on liquid packaging machines preferred.
  • Must be a team player as well as have the ability to work independently.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and travel nationally as well as internationally as required.
  • Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic fault finding, as well as tig welding of stainless steel will be to the candidate’s advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license – Code B.
  • Assembly of packaging machines according to engineering drawings specifications.
  • Setup, fault finding and testing of machines.
  • Installation and commissioning of machines on customer premises until full signoff by customer.
  • Fault finding maintenance on machines and after sales/ customer support assistance.
  • Responsible for quality inspections of manufactured machines.
