Job Description:Lead and develop a mechanical engineering team, providing guidance on pressure vessel design, fabrication, inspection, and maintenance.Oversee engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.Ensure all mechanical designs and activities comply with relevant industry codes and standards, including ASME, API, ISO, and PED.Drive process improvements, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, safety, and technical excellence.Collaborate with operations, fabrication, inspection, and project management teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutionsSkills & Experience: Minimum 10 years mechanical engineering experience in the oil & gas industry, 5 years at an executive levelExtensive experience with pressure vessels, including design, analysis, inspection, and maintenanceStrong knowledge of industry codes and standards, including ASME standardsProven leadership in managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex projectsStrong project management skills with experience in planning, budgeting, and executionQualification:Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical EngineeringProfessionally registered Mechanical Engineer (Pr. Eng)Proven experience in leading mechanical engineering projects in oil & gas or petrochemical sectorsExcellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to sites as requiredOnly South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.Contact MATTHEW LOUW on
