Main Purpose of the RoleThe primary goal of this role is to complete credit risk assessments and manage all related legal entity data. You will interpret information from various sources to provide readers (internal clients) with valuable and meaningful insights for decision-making. Assessments must clearly communicate the subject's creditworthiness, provide contextual and risk information, and be delivered within strict timeframes. Your key value-add is the meaningful interpretation of data, making supported recommendations, and offering solutions to help clients mitigate risk exposure. Core Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesAssessment and Analysis:Conduct comprehensive analysis of internal and third-party data to provide insightful summaries, conclusions, and a supported limit recommendation.Ensure all data is accurately captured and all assessments meet high standards for quality, accuracy, relevance, and professional presentation.Identify and highlight any adverse information, potential risks, or areas requiring further investigation.Meet all operational and quality standards as per established procedures.Information Gathering and Documentation:Utilize all available internal systems and external sources (e.g., public data, industry insights) to gather relevant information.Proactively follow up with clients and the subject entities via phone and email to secure necessary information timeously.Interpret information and document findings in a clear, consistent, and high-standard report format that reflects the entity's creditworthiness and provides actionable business intelligence.Time Management and Communication:Be accountable for your own work, self-managing to consistently meet quality and timing deadlines.Proactively communicate with clients regarding report progress, delays, and expected timelines.Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external parties to gather information and clarify report requirements. Position RequirementsExperience: 3 years relevant work experience.Qualifications: A business-related tertiary qualification is a strong advantage.Key Competencies: Excellent working knowledge of data platforms and a demonstrable ability to apply good judgment, common sense, and pragmatic solutions when encountering challenges. The ability to add value beyond simply following processes is essential.
