REQUIREMENTS:

  • Certificate diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering (minimum NQF Level 3).
  • Threephase Wiremans license.
  • Experience with control systems PLCs VFDs etc.
  • More than 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Willing to travel within South Africa and Africa.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install maintain & repair electrical and automation systems for greenhouse projects.
  • Troubleshoot diagnose and resolve technical issues and ensure. optimal system performance.
  • Commission calibrate and test new systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all work performed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes safety standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with other engineers and project managers to resolve issues efficiently.

SKILLS:

  • Team player with the ability to ensure support and collaboration both internally and externally.
  • Analytical thinker with excellent problemsolving skills.
  • Meticulous and methodical with good record keeping abilities.
