About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous Quality Operations Manager to oversee quality assurance and control processes in Polokwane . This role is essential for maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of our products and services. You will lead a team dedicated to implementing and monitoring quality management systems, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in quality management, excellent analytical skills, and a leadership style that promotes a culture of quality throughout the organization, operating within a hybrid work model that supports both office-based collaboration and remote task management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage the company's quality management system (QMS).
- Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, setting performance objectives and providing guidance.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Stay updated on industry quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control management.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing QMS (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Strong knowledge of statistical process control and quality improvement methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Experience with hybrid work structures and digital quality management tools is beneficial for this Polokwane role.
