We have the following vacancy available:??Night Shift Supervisor – Concrete ManufacturingLocation: Blackheath, Cape Town Industry: Concrete Products / Industrial Manufacturing Type: Full-time | Night Shift??Role OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and hands-on Night Shift Supervisor to oversee all production and operational activities during night hours at a concrete manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of industrial processes, and the ability to maintain safety, quality, and efficiency standards under pressure. This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted production and smooth handover to day operations. ??Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise night shift production, ensuring output meets quality and quantity targetsMonitor staff performance, enforce discipline, and ensure adherence to shift schedulesConduct pre-shift briefings and post-shift handovers with clear reportingMaintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulationsTroubleshoot operational issues and escalate where necessaryEnsure proper use and maintenance of machinery and equipmentRecord production data, downtime, and incidents accuratelyCoordinate with logistics and dispatch teams for timely loading and deliverySupport continuous improvement initiatives and enforce standard operating procedures ??Candidate RequirementsMinimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (concrete or construction materials preferred)Strong understanding of production workflows, safety protocols, and team managementAbility to lead and motivate teams during night operationsExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsPhysically fit and comfortable working in a factory settingWillingness to work night shifts on a rotational or fixed basisMatric required; technical or supervisory training advantageous
