Bookkeeper

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Accurately record and maintain financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Monitor and review budgets and expenses, providing recommendations for cost-saving measures
- Conduct monthly and year-end closings and assist with the preparation of annual financial statements
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial data and support for decision-making
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Oversee inventory tracking and purchasing processes, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-efficiency
- Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in financial records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably in the construction or sustainability industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
