Qualifications and Experience
  • DEGREE in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Electrical) BSc / BEng / BTech and/or Advanced Project Management or relevant tertiary qualification
  • 10+ years experience in Project Engineering and Project Management in the mining industry
  • Experience in a similar role, project management of large construction and installation projects
  • Scheduling and contract management knowledge
  • Sound Understanding of construction and installation projects in the mining environment, multi-disciplinary engineering, EPCM
  • Driven Can-do attitude, with a passion for mega projects in the mining industry, willing and keen to work on site full time
  • Process orientated and assertive to ensure that complex projects are executed in accordance with company established practices and safety requirements
  • Bias for action based on logical problem solving and experience
  • Able to work under pressure and to communicate effectively with a wide range of project stakeholders
  • Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of the outputs
  • Analytical thinker, energetic and flexible
  • Must be willing to relocate if appointed in permanent role
