Candidate Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a luxury inbound travel consultant
  • Must have proficiency in Tourplan
  • Knowledge of luxury travel destinations, accommodations, and experiences in Southern and/or East Africa
  • Planning, quoting, and designing journeys throughout Southern and East Africa timeously and accurately
  • Managing all aspects of tours from quoting through to post-tour file closure
  • Ensuring your in-country guest tours run smoothly and without error
  • Being on call for your in-country guests after hours while they are traveling
  • Tour administration to be maintained and accurate
  • Booking all services for your tours
  • Coordinating all invoicing/payments for your tours with accounts
  • Reconfirmation of all services before travel
  • Preparation of Travel documents
  • Ability to handle high volumes of work without compromising on accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal command of the English language
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with high-profile clients & agents
  • Crisis management and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Working with a sense of urgency and meeting deadlines
