Silo Depot Manager

The main focus of this role will be to manage the daily operational efficiency of the depot, ensure the plant, equipment and facilities are maintained in a safe working environment. 

• 5 years of experience as a Silo Bag Depot Manager
• Strong operational background, agile individual with the ability to multitask
• Likeable / relatable person with excellent staff management skills
• Preventative maintenance and efficiency mind-set in an agricultural environment
• Take control of ground preparation, bags layout and measurement
• Solid administration skills with regular reporting to head office manager
• Good planning and problem-solving skills, a self-managed individual
• Understand risks in the Agri-environment, with a focus on Maize, Soya, Sunflower and Wheat.
• The depot aim is to provide an optimal service to our clients through innovation with state-of-the-art dryers, material handling and grading equipment to ensure seamless operations.

Basic Qualification: Agricultural Tertiary degree / diploma

Certification very import in the following:

• Fumigation
• Grading of maize, soya, sunflower and wheat
• Health and Safety accreditation
