Automotive Project Sales Estimator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Project Sales Estimator. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost of projects, preparing detailed proposals, and supporting the sales team in closing deals. Responsibilities:Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to determine the scope of work. Work with other engineers to perform feasibility studies, develop models, and specify hardware and equipmentDevelop accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, and other project-related expenses. Prepare comprehensive proposals and quotes for clients. Collaborate with sales team members to understand client needs and provide accurate pricing information. Maintain a database of cost data and pricing information. Track project costs and ensure they align with the approved estimates. Participate in sales meetings and presentations as needed. Identify opportunities to improve the estimation process and reduce costs. Qualifications:Proven experience in sales estimation or a related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Automotive industry knowledge or experience requiredQualification in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics engineering
