ASSISTANT MANAGER: HIGH-END DELI (Time Out Market: V&A Waterfront)Seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to lead a modern South African Deli, based at the V&A Waterfront’s Time Out Market. The Market’s expansive, curated experience features the highest-rated local restaurants and some of Cape Town’s most-revered chefs. Previous experience in a high-end deli / market environment essential. The ideal individual is a natural leader, quality driven, highly guest and service orientated with strong management and operational skills. Key Role: To lead and manage a busy high-end deli operations to ensure overall profitability. It will also be expected to manage the POS at times.Position Requirements: •A formal Education relating to Food and Beverage Management, will be beneficial •Ability to manage a small team•Excellent communication skills•Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar environment•Inventory control experience
