If you enjoy working at the intersection of analytics, governance, and fair pay, this role offers scale, complexity, and influence.This role provides specialist support in implementing and maintaining remuneration and benefits frameworks, policies, and practices, ensuring alignment with legislative requirements, governance standards applicable to state-owned entities, and Land Bank’s strategic objectives. You will play a key role in remuneration data analysis, developing dashboards and reports, and producing insights that inform pay decisions, workforce planning, and submissions to leadership and governance committees.Our client is a long-established, specialist financial services institution with a national mandate, operating in a regulated environment where governance, compliance, and market competitiveness must be carefully balanced.What You’ll DoSupport implementation and upkeep of remuneration and benefits policies, frameworks, and processes across the organisationEnsure remuneration and benefits processes are accurate, compliant, and delivered within approved timelinesConduct market and salary benchmarking and participate in external salary and benefits surveysAnalyse remuneration data and reward trends to support strategy, internal equity, and competitivenessDevelop remuneration dashboards and reports using advanced Excel and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI)Support governance and compliance monitoring, including audit documentation and reportingAdminister job evaluation and profiling processes using approved methodologies (e.g., Peromnes, Patterson, Hay)Provide analytical support for incentive programmes and performance-linked remuneration cyclesEngage stakeholders with clear advisory support and respond to queries within agreed service levelsWhat You BringBachelor’s degree in HR Management, Industrial Psychology, Finance, or CommerceGRP certification (advantageous)5 years’ remuneration and benefits experience in an SOE, banking, or financial services environmentStrong remuneration/HR data analysis capability, including models, dashboards, and reportingAdvanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data modelling) and confidence working with large datasetsExperience in salary benchmarking, job evaluation, and job profilingExposure to dashboard tools such as Power BI or similarWorking knowledge of public sector governance and relevant legislation and guidelines (PFMA, DPE remuneration guidelines, King IV/King V)What Success Looks LikeAccurate, audit-ready remuneration and benefits records and reportingMarket benchmarking and survey submissions delivered on time and to a high standardClear, decision-ready dashboards and insights that improve remuneration governance and workforce planningConsistent turnaround times on job evaluation and grading supportReliable models and calculations for incentive cycles that align to policy and budgetTrusted advisory support to leaders and employees through sound guidance and responsive service
